A Master’s degree (NQF Level 9) in Human Nutrition or Human Nutrition and Dietetics with at least four (4) years of lecturing experience at tertiary education level and/ or industry experience or an equivalent combination of relevant professional experience. Proven record of teaching, research, supervision of students’ research project, publications in accredited journal, and community engagement. Excellent English communication skills (oral and written). Competence in developing high quality course materials and in teaching of the following courses: Human Nutrition, Gastro-intestinal and Endocrine Physiology, Nutrition through the Lifecycle and Maternal and Child Nutrition at undergraduate level. Competent to assume academic leadership, to establish professional networks, and to maintain links with the industry. Possession of a PhD degree will be an advantage.
