Eichar’s research interests are focused in the scholarship of teaching and learning in the area of nursing education and community health. She continues to present on aspects of writing across the curriculum and writing for publication in evidence based nursing practice. She is currently involved in a research evaluation of Healthy Northeast, a Hartford neighborhood initiative aimed at improving health and social outcomes.
