Expertise: I am most interested in the use of the law (i.e., legislation, regulation, litigation) to protect and promote the public's health. Specifically, I conduct research about public health law and policy, with an emphasis on areas such as emergency preparedness, the regulation of corporations, and tobacco control. Additional interests include the intersection of politics and public health, public health practice, and community/academic public health partnerships.
