Expertise: My research interests include topics in internal medicine, ophthalmology, infectious diseases, and tropical medicine. Research methodology focuses on exploring best evidence for clinical interventions, particularly clinical trials and comparative effectiveness research in both high- and low-income countries, and meta-analyses. Additionally, the link between communicable and non-communicable diseases is of interest. Here, observational study designs are used for the initial investigation of exposure-disease associations
