Expertise: Dr. Devin Casenhiser has been with UT since 2011. His research explores functional (i.e., communicative) and cognitive factors that affect language learning in neurotypical and autistic populations. Past and current research projects explore cognitive factors that affect both first and second language learning, social-interaction based interventions for children on the autism spectrum, and neurolinguistics factors involved with language processing.
