Evidence-based educational practices in athletic training professional preparation programs. Her research has focused on the development of standards for athletic training clinical instructors, role strain in collegiate clinical instructors, as well as the effectiveness of peer assisted learning. In addition to her own scholarship she has mentored five doctoral students in the past six years and successfully led them to completion of either the PhD or EdD in Kinesiology. Her work has been published in the Journal of Athletic Training, Athletic Training Education Journal, Athletic Therapy Today, and the Internet Journal of Allied Health Sciences and Practice.
