The Arnold School of Public Health at the University of South Carolina (USC) is seeking a highly motivated and skilled post-doctoral fellow to work on National Institutes of Health-funded research focusing primarily on the evaluation of the novel front-of-package nutritional labeling policy in Mexico through large annual surveys and comparison with the United States, including with a large sample of Mexican Americans.  The position is equivalent to a 12-month full-time position, with the opportunity to work for 2 or more years.  Responsibilities include coordinating and leading research activities across collaborating institutions, mainly through producing scientific manuscripts and occasional travel to academic meetings and conferences.  The ideal candidate should hold a Ph.D. in a social science or public health-related field and possess strong skills in quantitative analysis, particularly in survey data, and in evaluating communication and policy effects on perceptions and behaviors. Salary is commensurate with education and experience.
