A master’s degree (NQF Level 9) in Biomedical Science/Technology or Medical Laboratory Sciences with a specialisation in Cytology or Histology and at least four (4) years of lecturing experience at tertiary education level and/or industry experience or an equivalent combination of relevant professional experience. Excellent English communication skills (oral and written). Competent to teach the following courses: Anatomical Pathology (Cytology and/or Cytology) and Cell and Molecular Biology, and the ability to supervise research students at an under and post-graduate levels. A credible record of lecturing, peer‐reviewed publications, record/involvement in community engagement and supervision of undergraduate students’ projects will be an advantage. Applicants must be registered/registrable with the Allied Health Professions Council of Namibia (AHPCNA) as a Medical Laboratory Scientist or Medical/Biomedical Technologist.
