Requirements

Candidates at the Assistant Professor level are expected to have:

• Doctoral degree and post-doctoral research experience that prepare them for a career as an independent researcher.
• Commitment to conducting rigorous, high-level research with potential for NIH funding, including the production of scholarly publications;
• A track record for or show the potential to receive external funding.

Candidates at the Associate Professor level are expected to have:

• A record of externally funded research grants and peer-reviewed publications,
• Commitment to conducting rigorous, high-level research with potential for NIH funding, including the production of scholarly publications;
• Scientific partnerships with junior and senior research faculty,
• PhD-level student teaching and mentorship.
