The University at Buffalo Athletic Department seeks to hire a Nutrition Specialist, who will provide individual and group nutrition counseling and education to enhance the health and performance of the Football Student-Athletes. As a Nutrition Specialist, your responsibilities include:
- Nutrition assessment and counseling
- Translating the latest scientific evidence into practical sports nutrition recommendations
- Tracking and documenting outcomes of nutrition services
- Serve as a food and nutrition resource for coaches, sports medicine staff and athletic administration
- Direct program projects and delegate responsibilities to interns and volunteers

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and registered Dietitian, with active status.
- Have strong clinical skills in areas of diabetes, hypertension, lipid management, eating disorders, weight management, and other MNT diagnoses; as well as a sound knowledge of performance enhancement principles and strategies.
