A full-time, 12-month faculty position is available in the Dr. Pallavi Patel College of Health Care Sciences, Department of Occupational Therapy at Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. The Doctoral Capstone Coordinator (DCC) is directly responsible to the Chair of the Department of Occupational Therapy. He/she is responsible for overall development, refinement, and management of the doctoral capstone education components (Doctoral Experiential Component – Capstone) of the doctoral curriculum including site recruitment, supervisor education, site visitation, student placement, student advisement, conflict resolution and program evaluation. In addition, this position will have an assigned teaching load, service and scholarship expectations.

The position requires an earned doctorate by the date of hire, a minimum of 2 years of related clinical and/or teaching experience, as well as evidence of scholarship. Candidate must be a graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program and be eligible for licensure in Florida as an occupational therapist.
