A Master’s degree (NQF Level 9) in Human Nutrition, Human Nutrition & Dietetics and/or Health Sciences (majoring in Food Sciences) with four (4) years of lecturing experience at tertiary education level and /or industry or an equivalent combination of relevant professional experience. Excellent English communication skills (oral or written). Competent to teach the following courses: Maternal and Childhood Nutrition, Gastrointestinal and Endocrine Physiology, Nutrition through the Life Cycle, Community Nutrition, Nutrition in Emergency and Clinical Nutrition. Ability to supervise research students at an undergraduate and postgraduate level. A credible record of lecturing, peer‐reviewed publications, record/involvement in community engagement and supervision of undergraduate students’ projects, registration with HPCNA as well as a relevant Doctorate degree will be an advantage.
