The Department of Communicative Disorders and Sciences (CDS) at the University at Buffalo, The State University of New York, invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of assistant or associate professor in audiology, hearing sciences and disorders. This is an academic-year (10-month) position. The successful candidate is expected to develop and maintain an independent research program in his/her area of expertise, publish in peer-reviewed journals, and seek extramural research support. The new hire will teach audiology courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels, supervise AuD graduate research projects, and serve as an advisor for PhD students in CDS. Job duties also include service to the department, university, the profession, and community.
Salary and a Start-up package are competitive and negotiable. Lab spaces will be provided. Resources from the department and the UB Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology Clinic will be available to support faculty research.
