A Master’s degree (NQF Level 9) in Health Information Systems Management or Public Health with at least four (4) years of lecturing experience at tertiary education level and /or industry experience or an equivalent combination of relevant professional experience. Excellent English communication skills (oral and written) and proven record of teaching, research supervision and publications in accredited journal. Competence in developing high quality course materials and in the teaching of Health Economics and Health Informatics and Technologies and at least one (1) of the following: Quality Management and Improvement in HealthCare and Project Management for Healthcare at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Competent to assume academic leadership, to establish professional networks, community engagement and to maintain links with the industry.
